Winter Solstice Interfaith Lodge

Come and gather in circle with us to prayer as we enter in to the deep winter dreaming time. We start at 9:00am to build the fire, build the lodge, make prayer ties, and move into sacred space.

This lodge is happening right before the winter solstice a time of when the sun begins it's journey back to this hemisphere. It is the time of recognizing our inner light and it radiance.

The return of the light is the journey to Spring time when seeds are planted... What are you dreaming to sow next year? What are you wanting to bring into the light?

All are welcome. This is an interfaith gathering where we pray together for the good of all beings. Bring your prayers, songs, rattles and drums.

We do not ask for money donations but we can always use these items to support the community and future lodges:

Sage
Tobacco
Cotton cloth for prayer ties
Blankets
Fire wood

Things you will need to bring for the lodge:

Clothes to sweat in:

These gatherings are co-ed and we want everyone to be comfortable, so we ask that participants wear shorts, skirts, and a shirt or tee shirt in the lodge.

Towel
Water bottle
Dry clothes to change into after the lodge
A potluck dish to share after the lodge
